GRIEF AND LOSS
Experiencing a significant loss can shake you to the core. Whether it be through illness, death, or divorce: a significant loss can leave us feeling untethered, shocked, grieving, vulnerable and angry. Sometimes we need help to regain our equilibrium. Laurie finds that therapy can help us find the ground, cope effectively with our loss, and move beyond surviving to thriving. Therapy is most effective when the client, driven by the quest for understanding, growth and change is guided by the therapist to discover their own personal power, experiencing the depth of their emotions and moving forward with their lives. TGL will be starting a small private somatic grief group February 2024. See Somatic Grief Group tab for more information. Contact me for more information at 816-237-8845 or laurie@tglcounseling.com.
